Shards of War – это совершенно новый подход к традиционному геймплею игр MOBA. Классическая стратегия MOBA была объединена со скоростью и управлением с помощью раскладки WASD, которые характерны для «игр с видом сверху», Так удалось создать совершенно уникальный геймплей, соединияющий тактическую глубину с ураганным увлекательным экшеном.
В игре Shards of War две команды из пяти игроков сражаются друг против друга в 20-минутных матчах (боях), пытаясь одержать верх над командой соперника и уничтожить её штаб-квартиры. С самого начала игрокам будут предлагаться десять уникальных стражей: Флэтлайн, Булварк, Валькирия, Вулкан, Райно, Блиц, Страйкер, Джемини, Кобра и Ворхэд. Каждый страж является специалистом в своей области: атака, поддержка или танк.

New Sentinel: Vector​

Overclocked (Passive)
Vector devotes additional processing power to his cooldowns, reducing them whenever he hasn’t taken damage for a short time.
Deadlock (RMB)
Vector fires a data cube that damages and slows the first enemy hit. After hitting an enemy the cube will continue to travel forward. If a second enemy is hit while the cube travels, they will take damage and both enemies hit will be stunned. The cube will also stun if it hits a wall, including Vector's Partition.
Spawn Controller (E)
Vector browses a list of unused game assets and spawns one high above the targeted position. The asset lands after a short delay, dealing damage to all enemies in the area.
Partition (Space)
Vector creates a wall at the targeted position that blocks all enemy and allied movement but not base attacks or skills. The skill can be activated again to delete the Partition.
Core Dump (R)
Vector creates a vortex of data, slowing and damaging all enemies within. This skill remains active as long as Vector is in range, and does not deal damage to towers.

Premium Rework
Premium now comes with a variety of new benefits including permanent double XP, an extra material and credit drop per match, the possibility to open up a custom match with bots and a 10% discount on purchasing Sentinels, skins and chests.
We have removed the weekly progression screen because it was not an exciting mechanic. To compensate for this, we have increased material and credit drops after each match.
Metagame - Forum button
A button linking directly to our forums has been added to the footer of the Metagame.
Reworked Minimap backend, addressing a number of issues
Fixed Bugs:
Replaced low-res versions of Alliance logos with proper high-res versions
Fixed a spelling error in Bulwark’s passive tooltip
Fixed an issue that caused the continue button in the chest screen after a match to not show up
Nemesis’ ultimate range indicator no longer disappears through the floor of Empire City
Breach is no longer permanently visible for the enemy team through fog of war and on the minimap after getting charged by Apex’ ultimate
Fixed a missing skill name in Warhead’s tooltip
Zel’s RMB no longer stops at the cursor position
Adjusted the tooltip for Apex’ F level custom item “Hemo-Adapter” as it was too long
Fixed a missing animation when Nemesis respawns
Removed a faulty animation when reopening the loadout screen
The loadout screen no longer always switches to Cobra after finishing the crafting tutorial
The message that life shift is available now appears at the right time instead of too early
Fixed a bug displaying the wrong explosion effect on red team towers on Meridian Gate
Fixed an issue that caused opening chests to throw players back to home screen
Addressed a bug with the orientation of a characters bullet animations when walking
Added sound to the initial skill level selection and tutorial loading screen
Fixed an issue that caused missions to not properly update
Addressed an issue that broke the in-game chat for some users
The quit button when being disconnected from the game servers while waiting in the matchmaking queue now works as intended
Fixed an issue with the search field of the Alliance member page, causing it to stop working when requesting too many searches too quickly
Non-crafted items can no longer be used in-game if put into the first slot of a custom loadout
Fixed a crash that occurred when inviting players to a custom game from a custom group in your friendslist
Removed the gold counter from the chest screen after a match
Bile’s ultimate no longer cancels when used on an enemy entering the smoke

Empire City Visual Polish
Reduced Bot XP
Killing replacement bots will grant reduced XP in order to prevent bot farming
Sound Polish & Feedback: Added special sound effects when capturing the D.R.A.G.O.N. and the Mech Suits
Penalty System Rework
Players will no longer accrue leaver points for queue dodging and be put into a penalty queue
Now when dodging, the player gets locked out of matchmaking for 5 minutes for the first time, 30 minutes for the second time, and an hour for the third and following time each.
A blocked player will receive a popup notification after dodging to inform him of their penalty
When playing duo queue and one of the party members dodges, the other party member will also be locked out of matchmaking

Gameplay Changes:​

Gravity Circuit
Damaging enemies with skills grants you increased movement speed for a short time.
Movement speed : 16-20%
Duration: 1.5 seconds
Skills against Sentinels periodically deal bonus damage based on the target's maximum health. This bonus damage stacks for an increased effect.
Harbinger cannot deal damage to the same target within 3 seconds.
The Harbinger debuff stays for 8 seconds and can stack 3 times.
Damage per stack: 1-1.2% of the targets maximum hp.
Scout Protocol
You increase the damage of all allies in range. This bonus damage is disabled for a short time if you take damage yourself.
Cooldown when taking damage: 5 seconds
Damage Increase: 4.5-5.5%
Inferno Barrier
Damage now does not stack with other Inferno Barriers anymore.
Moved from tier C to tier B
Shield Projector
Now only triggers when the source takes damage from an enemy Sentinel.
Now only recharges if the source has not taken damage from Sentinels within the last 25 seconds.
Increased defense bonus against skills from 27-33% to 44-50%
Increased duration from 1.5 to 2 seconds
Acceleration Frame
Increased movement speed bonus from 12-15% to 16-20%
Nemesis Pulse
Increased movement speed bonus from 20-25% to 44-50%
Decreased movement speed buff time from 3 to 1.5 seconds
Increased movement speed bonus from 20-25% to 36-40%
Decreased movement speed buff time from 3 to 2 seconds
Regen Amp
Increased heal per second from 0.9-1.1% to 1.4-1.6% of your maximum hp
Moved from tier B to tier A
Resonance Plating
Decreased defense bonus per stack from 5.5-6.5% to 4.5-5%
Plasma Charger
Increased energy restoration from 80-100 to 100-120
Mobius Engine
Increased cooldown reduction per hit from 200-300 ms to 400-480 ms
Zenith Barrier
Increased shield amount from 150-180 to 260-300
Decreased shield duration from 3 seconds to 2 seconds
Flux Guard
Now takes 8 seconds to recharge regardless if the source is in combat or not.
These 8 seconds reset when the source takes damage.
Now always heals the source of the item by 50% of the amount as well as the lowest nearby ally by 100% of the amount.
Changed the ranges of the item: The dying drone has to be in a 12 meter range of the wielder of the item. An ally has to be within 12 meters of the dying drone to get healed.
Enhanced OS
Increased tenacity bonus from 27-33% to 44-50%
Moved from tier B to tier D
Kinetic Reactor
Now always slows the attacker when hit by base attacks.
Decreased slow duration from 2 to 1 second
Decreased slow amount from 24-30% to 16-20%
Crisis Core
Increased cooldown reduction per proc from 200-300 ms to 400-480 ms
Cryo Shells
Increased slow amount from 16-20% to 26-30%
Incendiary Rounds
Now deals 1.6-2% of the targets current health per tick rather than a flat amount.
Energy Capacitor
Increased mana gained per proc from 4-5 to 5-6
Razor Shells
Now can only proc once per second.
Increased damage from 0.2-0.3% to 1.5-2% of the targets maximum hp per proc

This update will need a server maintenance of approximately 30 minutes. The countdown will start around 120 minutes beforehand.
